Owner and Nurse Injector at Native Skin Bar. Ashly has been a nurse since 2016, starting in labor and delivery on the White Mountain Apache Indian reservation. After additional bedside nursing in pediatric and medical/surgical units she transitioned to a remote position supporting patients on specialty pharmacologic treatment. In 2021 she finally took the leap and became certified in injectables in Scottsdale, AZ. She provides gentle and finessed treatments, always considering patient comfort and safety. As a registered nurse, Ashly works under medical director Laura Finkbeiner FNP. Ashly is the wife to a handsome husband, mother to three beautiful children, a winemaker, and a professional dancer.

Frequently asked Questions
Do I have to have a consultation?
Yes. All new patients are required to have a consultation. For in-person appointments, time is allotted for a full face assessment as well as treatment if it is desired in the same day. Once you have established your care at Native Skin Bar with a consultation, you may schedule future appointments for the treatments discussed.
Why do I have to have a follow-up appointment?
Follow-ups are important to assess the progress of your treatment plan and to determine if any refinement is needed. Aesthetic treatments often need at least 2 weeks and up to 6 weeks to see the final result. By taking after photos at this appointment, it is easier for patients to see the difference after treatment. Follow-ups are free of charge and a great opportunity to discuss any future treatment options and schedule future appointments.
Will it hurt?
At Native Skin Bar we provide a number of comfort measures to make your treatment as pain-free and stress-free as possible. These include ice, numbing cream, injectable numbing, and distraction tools. Everyone’s pain tolerance is different but the injection techniques used also help to minimize pain and discomfort.
Will I bruise?
Patients are advised that any treatment involving puncture of the skin with a needle can cause bruising. Though some procedures are more likely to cause bruising such as lip filler, please be prepared for bruising after any procedure. Certain conditions and medications can increase the risk of bruising. This will be discussed during your consultation. If you are prone to bruising, we carry Alastin Inhance Post-Injection Serum to help bruises clear up quickly.
How much will it cost?
Prices provided on the services pages are a starting point. Each patient is different and will require a varying degree of correction. During your consultation, we will discuss the recommended treatments to help achieve your aesthetic goals along with the total cost. It is okay if you need to break up these treatments into multiple sessions. We will work with you and your budget to get you closer to your ideal result.
